Coanda effect is the observed tendency of a moving gas or fluid leaving a nozzle of some kind to cling and follow nearby surfaces. We utilize this tendency by aiming the airflow at room surfaces, such as walls or ceilings.

Outstanding energy savings

This series achieves CSPF from 5.3 to 6.3 during cooling operation thanks to Daikin’s DC Inverter control and next-generation R-32 refrigerant.

Coanda Effect

Coanda masks winds upward, winds are cooled near the ceiling, and then covered underneath, creating a comfortable environment and reducing cold winds blowing into the body.

Intelligent Eye

Detect human movement in a room by using infrared sensor to prevent energy wastage.

Smart Controller (optional)

The Daikin mobile controller application lets you manage Daikin inverter air conditioners from anywhere, helping to maintain a comfortable home environment while saving. Controlling function can be done in-home as well as out of home.

Energy Saving

After the indoor temperature approaches the set temperature, inverter control adjusts to low capacity operation to maintain this temperature, making inverter models more energy saving than non-inverter models.

Powerful

Inverter air conditioners operate at maximum capacity as soon as they start up. This burst of increased power allows them to reach the set temperature more quickly.

Comfortable

Inverter air conditioners adjust capacity according to changes in the air conditioning load and the difference between the indoor temperature and set temperature is small, giving higher comfort levels than with non-inverter air conditioners.

Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic Air-Purifying Filter

While the filter’s micron-level fibres trap dust, titanium apatite effectively adsorbs odours and allergens, as well as deodorises odours. This filter delivers consistent performance for approximately three years if it is washed with water once every six months.

Next-Generation Refrigerant R-32

To cope with climate change, Daikin has now adopted R-32, next-generation refrigerant which does not deplete the ozone layer and lower global warming.

Anticorrosion Treatment of Outdoor Heat Exchanger Fins

The surface of heat exchanger fins is covered with a thin acrylic resin layer to enhance the fins' resistance to acid rain and salt corrosion. A hydrophilic film layer also prevents rust caused by the run off of water droplets.

Indoor Unit Quiet Operation

The 2.5 kW class models provide a low sound level of just 25 dB (A) when Quiet (SL) is selected.
Selecting Indoor unit quiet operation, which decreases the sound pressure level by 3 to 4 dB (A) below low setting will help you to sleep comfortably at night.
